How-to remove Instrument Cluster (IPC)

So the first thing you should do is disconnect the battery negative

Once you have done that jump in the car and you need to lower and pull out the steering wheel using the rake adjustment

Wondering if anyone can explain it like I am 5 why when I push TC off I get a bludgy-tyre with TC in it and a cross out. But there is also a drink-driver image just above it, and on the other dial a drink-driver image who is off that day?

If i got an ipc that is almost exactly for my vehicle from poland... can the language the DIC / driver display is in be changed to english? i note my insignia ipc i'm using for now has no language settings, but i'm sure i read somewhere that there is a menu that can be activated that gives language selections.


obviously the speedo is in kph, but i'd swap my background card over to the mph version from my original ipc,

I've got an Astra J Excite with the lower IPC display. I wanted to buy a unit off eBay and fit it myself but ive done some research and undertstand it will need programming. I called vauxhall and asked if they could program it for me if i was to fit it and they said it's not possible, but I've read in the workshop manual that it could be programmed with the SPS programming device.

Hi folks, i got insignia 2.0 cdti 2009, and after some time i wanted to change ipc with mid level display for ipc with uplevel display. I read eeprom, changed my car vin and security code and all got working (odometer and no errors since ipc is from the same specs car like mine) but rev counter is staying at 0, although it does sweep at start. Is it some wiring issues or need more programing?

does any one have a wiring pin out for the ipc
