hi all,
has anyone had problems with after market stereo`s for the astra j mine was working fine until one day the back light on the display went out, these are like the one`s that icebox sell (h5754). 
You will need to contact which ever company you brought it from.

I can do programming and retrofits using genuine GM MDI and Dealer software.

I have fixed the stereo now, the problem was in the main unit not in the display.
I covered the main pcb with solder flux and with a hot air gun on a slow speed over the hole board and then left it to cool down, then powered it up. hay hay it works.
