There is a something called panel wipe. It's usually IPA which is isopropyl alcohol.

Now this won't remove 100% of waxes, the best way to ensure it is all removed, is to use a paint cleansing polish with a light pad on a machine polisher.

Because of the bond of the wax, it does require some form of agitation via the machine.
