Hi I have a 12plate astra j gtc 1.6t when engine is warm it sound like it is over heating or the fan is working overtime, I picked my friend up from for work this morning and he said that he could here my car from inside his house and it sounded like a fighter jet, could somebody please help me or have any ideas on what the problem may

IIRC there was a recall out for fan looms on some petrol engines.

Worth ringing a local dealership and asking if there are any outstanding recalls on the car.
