Using op-com for the first time and found a fault code for what I believe to be the dpf anyone know why this could be showing ? Does it mean it the dpf needs to regenerate or because it's blocked or has a fault ?

From what I can see it's taking too long to regen the DPF.

Couldn't find a fault code thread, thank you for looking, would this mean the dpf's blocked ? Car is on 116000 miles and it hasn't had a replacement from what I hear they normally give up around this sort of time and before

I've not heard of DPF's giving up more needing to be replaced because most people don't know how to drive the the car properly.

For future reference here is the fault code list https://www.vxoc.org.uk/forum/Thread-Fault-Codes

It could most well be blocked best thing to do is get some Pro-tech http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUDI-VW-PRO-TE...SwwTlUl0nk
put that in the tank then half fill the tank then give the car blast, if that doesn't help while the car is hot try a static regen which I think you can do via OP-COM.

I take no responsibility for any issues that may arise with you using op-com.

dpf filters do have to be replaced at some point they don't last forever
with your mileage i would say you are close to if not have come to needing it replaced
i would go down the manual clean with chemicals and de coke the intake system
there are specialists out there for the job
and a egr replacement may be required
