Astra BiTurbo solenoid buzzing again.... - eatmybogbrush - 13:th-Nov-2020 Oh **** me these bloody turbo solenoid has gone again, replaced both only 18months ago and only done 14.000 miles, what a joke these are. Will any fit from another make pref not GM they are ****, I don't get it my Astra H 2009 1.9 has never been replaced and done 110.000 miles.....actually will that fit? I don't really understand how they work, are they specific to the make of car or would they work on any car if the wiring fits? Any ideas I would appreciate it as I'm not paying £50 every 18months. RE: Astra BiTurbo solenoid buzzing again.... - Rusty2009 - 14:th-Nov-2020 I have had the solenoid fail once and vauxhall just replaced the whole turbo. If I'm honest I would find a turbo specialist they would be the best to advise they may even have an uprated solenoid which would be better.
