Can you retrofit the stop/start system on Astra j with 1.7 cdti ?

You could but the cost would far out weigh any benefit.
There are so many up-rated parts for S/S and then loads of extra wiring.
That's before you even get on to programming (which would be the stumbling block as GM wouldn't support it).

Not sure why you would want to retrofit Stop/Start. Just be glad you don't have it. I have it disabled in my current car.
