Will fitting downpipe pass MOT? - MCG1983 - 4:th-Nov-2019

Hi, I'm looking to fit a downpipe and an intercooler onto my 200PS Astra J GTC, as I have access to a 265PS tuning map with these mods. I am looking to leave the main cat as the standard Vauxhall one, and leave the rest of the exhaust standard too.

Will this pass an MOT?

Thanks.

Hi can not see why not fitting sports cats sometimes can give problems with the emission  test but as you are leaving that bit as standard should be no problem although would have thought a rolling road session would be of benefit after the remap where they should be reading the emissions
