A couple of useful Apps for the J - jw021979 - 22:nd-Sep-2019

I have found a couple of useful apps for Android that work wel for the Astra J (I am not the developer and don't know the developer).
OPL DTC Reader works well with an ELM Bluetooth OBDII reader and can read Vauxhall/ Opel specific errors. My normal OBDII reader would not read my Glowplug error on my 2.0 CDTi but this app can and was able to reset the fault code.

The same developer also made OPL DPF Monitor lite that can see how full the particulate filter is and will show if it is doinf a regen and how far along the regen it is. It looks like it supports all 2.0 CDTI, most 1.7 and 1.3 but not 1.6.

Both apps are available on Google Play Store for Android. I don't know if there are iPhone versions available.
Hope these are helpful.

Can I ask what OBDII reader you are using as I have plan to add an extra OBDII port so I can hide one these away but leave the OBDII plug in place for any programming etc needed.
