Astra J lowering - hooper - 29:th-May-2019

Hi all

Picking up a 2013 2.0 CDTi Astra Elite on the weekend.

I am also planning on purchasing a set of 18" rims (GM# 13269540)
These are 225/40/R18

I want to drop the car a bit but not to a point that will ruin the ride. I live in the Cotswolds and the roads are bumpy as round here with a number of potholes.
Was thinking 30mm max.

Any suggestions on the rim and spring suggestion?

Thanks in advance all

IMHO 30mm is too low.

I would suggest dropping it 10mm get the SRI springs as they are 10mm shorter than standard springs, they also keep a nice smooth comfy ride.

GSF very often have upto 60% and you can pick up the rear springs nice cheap then.

Factory Rear springs are prone to breaking so I'd advise on these.

Buying from GSF when 60% offer is you get the 2 for less than the price of one.

For the front springs look on ebay.
