Electric Window intermittent problem - Stanhope - 19:th-Mar-2019

Hi all
My passenger window has developed a fault on my GTC, sometimes it will work and sometimes it won't. It's the same with both door buttons but seems ok closing and opening from the key. When it does work the one touch closing wont work but it's all ok drivers side.
Any ideas before I shell out cash at the dealers?

You could try pulling the negative off the battery for 30-60 mins let all systems shut down then reset the window after reconnecting the battery.

I had similar issue with Pax side window control on my old Veccie.  I popped the switch unit out of the housing, carefully took it apart and cleaned the contacts. They had a fine dirt layer on them.  Rubbed them over with WD and never had another issue...

Thanks all, by taking the switch out and putting it back in it seems to have worked!
