'Sport' vs. 'Non-sport' headlights - jcapdor - 26:th-Jan-2019

Hello all,

I'm in need of a new headlight assembly on the driver's side of my 2013 J Sports Tourer (A16LET engine & standard non-Xenon non-adaptive headlights.)
I'm browsing through listings on eBay etc, however there seems to be a distinction between 'Sport' and 'non-Sport' models when it comes to compatibility.
I'm a bit thrown by this as I'm in Australia where the J was sold under the short-lived Opel brand with no 'Sport' model in the lineup. Can anyone shed a bit of light on what a Sport model is? Is it perhaps referring to 3-door vs. 5-door (as these are obviously a different headlight shape?) Many thanks in advance.

The GTC and 5-door headlights are different.

On your current headlight do you have a LED DRL / Sidelight or a Bulb which covers both also there is chrome and black version.
I have found ebays compatibility thing mostly wrong.

Thank you very much for the reply.

I agree about the compatibility checker and the sellers tend not to have much of a clue either unfortunately.

The DRL/sidelight is a bulb, but not too sure about chrome vs. black. These are some photos of the left-hand undamaged side which hopefully show one or the other.

Ok so you have the black now there is 2 versions of black also one with lines on it and one smooth.

If you PM your VIN I'll see if I can get the part number you need.
