Fuel consumption - 1.3 CDTI - mw2299 - 18:th-Sep-2017 I've got a 1.3 CDTI and the fuel consumption seems really quite bad to me? The car is completely standard atm, yet out of half a tank I'm only getting 150-160 miles? I haven't filled it up yet, and I don't really do it unless I need to, but I can't see why it's so bad. The car has FSH and was serviced 11 months ago. Any ideas? Fuel consumption - 1.3 CDTI - Rusty2009 - 18:th-Sep-2017 Just running round town will always give you low MPG. My 2.0cdti sits around 200-300 miles from a tank if I'm running round town. If I go on a run I'll get 600 to a tank. Previously driving a 05 1.6 focus. Tank of petrol just over £50. Got me 320 miles... How is a newer car with a smaller engine with an apparently bigger tank, worse?!
