Buying a GTC - BenSXI+ - 8:th-Apr-2017

Hi Guys,

I'm currently driving a 06 Corsa SXi+ and am looking at getting a GTC soon to replace it (good choice? Wink)

I take it it'll be a significant upgrade?!
I'm looking to spend around 9/10k a couple of months from now, but am finding it hard to choose between a SRi and a Limited Edition?
I want all of the interior upgrades in the SRi, half leather standard etc, but also want the VXR-line body kit on the LE?

Which is it worth getting? I guess it'd be easier to retrofit the LE body kit to the SRi than all of the interior options from the SRi to the LE?

Just looking for a little guidance and info (being a Corsa man atm after all)

Cheers

Just buy the SRI with vxr styling kit, there's usually a few out there for sale. The limited edition is too basic in the interior, as well as not having sight and light pack and ambient lighting. The new 65 plate limited editions are very nice and also have an upgraded interior and tech spec but obviously they will cost more that £10k.

Here's a 2015 2.0cdti GTC SRI with exterior styling and afl (rare) as an example... http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201703293805890?advertising-location=at_cars&model=ASTRA%20GTC&sort=sponsored&radius=1500&make=VAUXHALL&keywords=vxr&aggregatedTrim=SRi&onesearchad=Used&onesearchad=Nearly%20New&onesearchad=New&postcode=le112lr&page=2

Sorry to hijack an older thread.

I've been having a quick read through some of these forums around some mods/how to's etc before potentially buying an Astra GTC SRI 13/14/15 plate.

Like the original poster, I like the body kits on the limited edition's, but would rather have an SRI interior.

You mentioned the VXR style pack being installed on some SRI's. Is there any give away to look for to see if this is installed? Any differences between standard and the VXR style pack? Some of these car dealer websites aren't exactly accurate with features and optional extra's being listed on the adverts, and it can be quite difficult to tell from pictures.

Cheers!
