I think it will depend on your skill level if you are fairly good at painting, warping ect then I would give it a bash.

But it also would depend on costs to purchase and do it yourself and costs for the pros to do it.

Very easy to do but you must use clear coat to protect it

well thats personal taste
i had some carbon dipped door handles on my old mk5
they looked very good and lasted very well also
i did not dip them my self but the process is easy to do at home for sure

its one of those things its all about technique after dipping and the cleaning and prep work. just need a steady hand for dipping. hardest part will be getting a perfect finish with the lacquer

best thing to do is go for it and give it a go mate thats how I learned most things haha
