Posted by: Rusty2009 - 17:th-Aug-2014, 11:41:37 - Forum: Parts for sale - Replies (4)

Philips X-treme Vision H7 bulb x4.

I fitted these for about a week and then changed them to some other bulbs.

Looking for £30 posted paid as gift. (these can sale for £15 per bulb).

One of the tubs broke when opening hence why one is in a different box.

Some pics fitted (fitted in drivers side)

So I decided to replace the boot light with one of these:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/230879251093
They are the same as the footwell lights.
They come with adapters so they just plug straight in to the original socket and can be attached on the outside to the see through cover.
I then decided I wanted one either side, so I spliced into the original wired behind the light then ran a cable under the sil to the other side. I then attached the 2nd led board to a a sheet of plastic, drilled a hole through then bolted the. Together to hold it in.

Sorry about the mess lol

  Remap DPF removal
Posted by: bannan - 14:th-Aug-2014, 19:43:58 - Forum: Retrofit Research - Replies (6)

I've had a few issues with dpf getting blocked and had a couple of forced regens done to clear. I booked in a place to get remapped and dpf delete done but when they came to do it my car wasn't on the system apparently the 2010 2.0 cdti can be done but mine is the 2011 and apparently it has a different ECU it has a Denso. It is alientech equipment that they use at the garage. I desparately want this dpf out so I don't have anymore problems. I've scoured the internet to try and find out if anyone has had theirs remapped but can only come across are 2010 models, nothing later. does anyone know of anyone who has had this carried out or possibly a company who can do it. I was hopeing for the original company to eventually be able to do it as they have a very good reputation but if I can get it done elsewhere who use different equipment that can actually do it then I will.
