  is this common?
Posted by: Gilmore - 25:th-Aug-2014, 10:31:59 - Forum: Astra-J/GTC Common Problems - Replies (15)

My car is making a noise it shouldn't be, it's the 1.7 cdti 2011, when just ticking over its noisey like doesn't really sound like a normal diesel, press the clutch and it sounds fine (as it should in my opinion) lift the clutch and it's noisey again, my mate says input shaft bearings maybe or thrust bearing, it's still reasonably low mileage

I've always bought the genuine 150ml spray can's but I just ran out while doing something so had a look on eBay Stone care don't have any but I saw this

Will it be any good or should I pop to the dealers and grab some?

Need it ASAP as need to get this finished.

What bulbs would people recommend, want a nice crisp white. But don't want to go for a HID kit.

Thought whilst I had some spare time I would take off the centre caps and Plasti Dip the griffin.

  Odd Jobs at Trax
Posted by: Rusty2009 - 23:rd-Aug-2014, 18:43:30 - Forum: Club Event Archive - Replies (45)

I will help members with some odd jobs at trax but nothing big.

I will also bring my Laptop and my GM MDI for members to use at there own risk (Please note it's free for models up 2012) so any models 2012 or newer won't be able to use it as I wont have internet nor paying the hourly rate that GM want.

  got quite a problem
Posted by: Gilmore - 22:nd-Aug-2014, 18:33:02 - Forum: Astra-J/GTC Common Problems - Replies (8)

went to change the indicator bulbs, the metal clip bit came off alltogether, realised i had the wrong bulb, so couldnt change them, couldnt get the metal clip back on, is there an easy way for access to it, like taking the arch liner out, or am i going to have to take the bumper off, also what bulbs do actually fit there?
