Right This I Really Need To Think About.
Posted by: SI SRI - 31:st-Aug-2014, 14:47:35 - Forum: Astra-J/GTC - Replies (6)

Whilst looking around for other items to sort the car out after Trax I have noticed alot of show cars lately have Bentley, Porsche or Merc alloys on them. Now could Bentley rims look any good on a five door and would they fit?

Hi, just a quick introduction. I have an Astra J 2.0 SRI. Probably just going to lurk for the most part but will contribute when I can. Cheers

As some of you already know I've tried changing indicator bulbs and stalled really because I haven't got the right bulbs to replace them with, the metal clip fell off and I need to know how it fits back on properly, anyone got a pic handy, need to put the car back together asap

Thorney Motorsport Tuning Box - Astra J - 2.0 cdti
Posted by: MattC3156 - 29:th-Aug-2014, 00:50:31 - Forum: Parts for sale - No Replies

As it says above. Run on my car for about 8k and worked faultlessly.

No box, but supplied with fitting instructions. Unfortunately when I was removing it I broke one of the surrounds to the plugs. It still fits perfectly and won't move or pop out.

Comes complete with a blanking plug to return car to normal if you wish.

TMS Link gives figures etc. - http://www.thorney.ms/tuning-box-template-2151.html

These retail at £500.

Yours in exchange for £250 - includes Royal Mail special delivery.

Meguiar's Hot Rims All Wheel Cleaner
Posted by: Rusty2009 - 26:th-Aug-2014, 16:02:36 - Forum: Detailing - Replies (5)

So I grab some Meguiar's Hot Rims All Wheel Cleaner the other day in Halfords as I've run out of dragon breath and thought I'd try something else.

It's done a much better job than dragon breath and any other wheel cleaner I've used so far.

So here's the before and after.

Front

Rear

Quite simple to use first give the wheels a quick wash then spray on the wheel cleaner leave it for a few minutes and then wash off, then move to next wheel while you leave that to soak go back and dry the wheel.
