  Seat Connector Swap
Posted by: sheppy1 - 7:th-Feb-2015, 11:55:54 - Forum: Astra-J/GTC - Replies (22)

Hi Guys

So it turns out the guy who sold me the elite seats was an idiot and cut the connectors off the bottom of the passenger seat!!! The garage are going to try and take the connectors from my old seat and splice them into the new seat...is that safe to do though and would the airbags work fine?

Thanks

How to remove air vent trim

How to remove air vent trim

So start by getting a trim in the bottom and then slide it across.

Now with a slight rocking of the trim tool the fascia will start to pop off work you way along the bottom then up the right side and stop by the top.

Move the trim tool to the left side and again using a rocking motion the fascia will pop off

On re fitting you must start at the top as you place it in there will be a slight gap, all you do is then push upwards and the top will click in then then do each side then the bottom.

Hi, my first post. As an owner of a "regular red" GTC cdti 2.0 with 19" upgrade alloys and standard everything else I wondered what could be done to improve/ look after my new metal baby.

Hi all I'm Rustys Wife,

As he spends most of his spare time on or doing things for the forum or locking himself away in the garage playing with the cars I thought I'd come and make sure he's behaving himself

  Leather Seat Types Elite
Posted by: sheppy1 - 2:nd-Feb-2015, 19:08:51 - Forum: Astra-J/GTC - Replies (16)

Are all leather seats from elites heated with electric lumbar control? Basically i was going to buy some from someone on Gumtree and he said they were all electric and couldn't be controlled manually and were heated too. I ended up with some on eBay thought but the guy on there didn't know if they were heated or not and also said that they could be controlled manually and electronically (the movement that is) so just wondering if both sets were actually the same but each person didn't know everything about them...

Just wondering if they are all the same and if the ones I have bought will have the electric controls and the heating functions too and if it does indeed have manual controls?

As approved by Russell.

WE VIEW YOU AS A BETTER DRIVER MEANING WE CAN OFFER CHEAPER PREMIUMS!

- €œJust sorted out my policy with these guys. Think they were the most helpful insurance company I have ever spoke to and would recommend them to anyone before any other company. Glad I could join these even left my existing policy 6 months into it. So thank you Prestige.” Mr J, Flintshire
- €œSaved me £230 very happy...service was excellent.” K.Spicer

The administrators have linked up with the Prestige Keep Moving Car Insurance Scheme – http://www.prestigekeepmoving.com – for their specialist car insurance scheme for car club users.

· You are entitled to a FREE MOT worth up to £54.85 at any Halfords Autocentre when you renew your car insurance with us.
· There are very few exclusions on the scheme! It starts at age 21, has a minimum premium of £300, and includes all postcodes (apart from Northern Ireland), and all modifications (except nitrous & roll cages). If you wish to insure a ‘performance’ vehicle on our scheme, then you must have at least a years experience of driving that or similar bhp car.

The main reason we can offer this scheme to you is because members of car enthusiast groups are viewed as better drivers which allows us to offer cheaper premiums.

Please call us on 0800 3308057 (or 0333 4001580 for mobiles as it can be included in any free minutes’). We are open Monday-Friday 9am-8pm and Saturdays 9am-4pm and please don't forget to mention this club when ringing so you can see the benefit.
