Welcome back to the VXOC FORUM.
Sorry for our lack of support over the last year but MYBB is back and so are we.
Let's get the forum buzzing again... (March 25, 2022)x
You will need some PLCC-2 the amount needed varies depending on the switch I recommend the ones from this seller on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/121277975850?_...EBIDX%3AIT I have had 100's of LED'S from this guy.
So you have the switch
First thing we need to do is open it up, there are 4 clips 2 each side un-clip them with a small screwdriver.
Once you've un-clipped one side you should be able to lift the backing off.
Now carefully you need to remove the PCB board and rubber cover (Not under this are little white plastic lugs which can fall out).
Next step remove the rubber and start your LED conversion. I've marked with a red line which is negative for you.
To get the correct polarity of the new LED you will see the corner is cut this is the negative end, see image below.
As with all electrical how-to's we except no responsibility for any issues that could arise all are carried out at your own risk. If the how-to is followed correctly you should have no issues.
Wondering how the auto dimming mirror is installed? Would it just replace my current bottom end mirror or would I need some additional parts like a cover or something?

CHRIS KNOTT VIRTUAL SHOW & SHINE - with £100 prize
Here's a chance for members to show off their cars and their photo skills once again as we launch the 2015 Chris Knott Virtual 'SHOW & SHINE' on Social Media. It's been a couple of years since we ran the last one.
There's a PRIZE for the winning entry of a £100 Amazon Voucher and we'll feature the winning photo on all our Social Media in October.
THEME: Car & Summer
HOW TO ENTER
Just post a photo of your car looking all Summery or in a Summer setting on as many of our social media pages as you can (and tag us in the pic).
FACEBOOK - simply post your pic/pics on our page https://www.facebook.com/ChrisKnottIns and tag us in the pic.
TWITTER - tag your post with @ChrisKnottIns and #CKShowShine
GOOGLE+ - tag your post with @ChrisKnottIns
INSTAGRAM - tag ChrisKnottInsurance when you post your pic
We'd also be interested to know which car club/forum you're a member of, so you might like to tell us in your post (not compulsory).
It would be great if you could also LIKE or FOLLOW and SHARE whichever page you're on - and then POST your pic of your car on the page.
The closing date for entries is 30th September 2015 - so just over 2 months for you to get the creative juices flowing and come up with something if you haven't already got an image to post up.
Your car could be stock or modified - there are no restrictions in that regard.
Be inventive. Remember, unlike a traditional Show & Shine, this is a photo comp so we will be looking for the photo that shows off best the combined Car & Summer theme but please keep it clean (the photo)!!
It doesn't have to show the whole of your car - it just needs to have a car in it. Think about location, lighting, angles, etc.
The pic can be anything amateur - an Instagram photo, straight camera-phone pic or something a bit more serious and we're happy if you want to use effects.
The only stipulation is that it must be your own photo and your own car (not an image nicked off the interweb).
Have a look at the photos we've added to our Facebook page and commented on over time to see the sort of images that we've appreciated in the past. We ran the last Virtual Show & Shine back in 2013 on Facebook so maybe have a look at the winning entries again.
We're really looking forward to seeing some new pics as you post them. There's no limit to the number of different photos you can post.
Don't forget, it's LIKE/FOLLOW (if you want to make us happy), SHARE (if you want to help us) and POST (if you want to win).
Thanks and good luck!
best,
Nick
PS. Forum admins, please boost via PM and your own Social Media if you can. Thank you.

Is it possible to unlock cd 400 without chassis number?
i was remove cd 300 and put cd 400 along with display.
climate controls are showing on display, but radio showing "locked"
Hi
A couple of months ago I installed this by myself http://www.dx.com/p/lsqstar-7-android4-1...aogPOZa8vc
The problem that i had two weeks ago and continues so far is that the dvd cannot locate satellites as fast as before. So far the dvd locate satellites in at least five seconds and now it will be 30 or 40 kilometers of driving. Also from when it will locate the satellites the behavior is unstable and it looses the location some times...As you can see in the pictures the gps antenna is this http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Sale-Whol...36466.html.
I reset in factory settings two times and the result is the same. The programm that is installed and you can see the satellites is "gps test plus"
1.Can anyone understand in which part is the problem?
2.As it seems from the specs the antenna is not only antenna but has an internal receiver which i am not sure if it's true.Is there a case to have the receiver the problem and do not have stable function?
3.Is there a case to have the problem a part in the box of dvd and not the module of antenna?
4.Where is the receiver of navigation?
5.The only receiver is into the antenna only as described in its specs or the dvd have another receiver inside?
Anyone can help because...
I would like to know that what sort of miles your getting out of a full tank..
Im struggling to get 400 miles out of the full tank and my mate at work has a 2.0 and get around 600miles out it and I'm wondering if i have an issue i don't know about.
