Welcome back to the VXOC FORUM.
Sorry for our lack of support over the last year but MYBB is back and so are we.
Let's get the forum buzzing again... (March 25, 2022)x
Morning guys
well last night I heard a bang and got notified by a neighbour that someone smash my door mirror completely off
so just checking for a part number for the whole mirror. Drivers side
I have an astra gtc 1.4 turbo mk6
So had the car back for a couple of weeks now since getting new glow plugs, exhaust manifold and turbo fitted due to DPF and turbo under pressure faults.
While the car had these issues, it was performing a passive regen every 50 miles or so. Since its repair, the passive regens are consistently every 100 - 110 miles. Even if i stop the car during a regen and it fails, it wont carry out the next one for another 100 miles. this is regardless of engine temp/fuel level, which I'm sure I read somewhere form part of the criteria for the car carrying out a regen? Example this morning the car performed and completed a regen while the engine temp was barely off the 50c mark on the gauge, fuel light was also on...
Regens at this rate would equate to an oil life of 10k as life appears to reduce 1% every regen, does this seem correct?
Also 9 times out of 10 when starting the engine, it sounds like a bag of spanners being thrown around for a few seconds then sounds nomal...
I have the following issue:
Since the weather turned cold in Germany (2 to -3 dgrees C) my v5754 has developed a problem with remembering saved settings.
It forgets which apps were opened and which tracks were played on the media player. Also it forgets it has a USB drive mounted.
But the worst is that more necessary settings in the orange car settings app don't work anymore (e.g. coming/leaving home lighting). I can change them all I want. Next App start they just remain what they were before the changes.
What I find strange is that everything worked fine until like 10 days ago.
Does anyone of you know how the IceBoxes save their settings? Is it car battery assisted or is there another power source inside the device that helps the unit keep its settings?
Someone decided to take my front tow eye cover from my Astra J limited Ed 2015. I cant seem to find the right one on ebay. I am hoping with VX part number I will have better luck.
Or if someone could point me in the direction of a replacement.
I found 2 connectors and and I don't know what to use. Can someone help me with information
1. The first connector in the trunk space
2. The second connector near the right back door

Hi,
I was wondering if anybody had any links for Spare Parts, Im looking for an Electric Water Pump, but can only find one with the main dealer, £380, which even the dealer thought was a bit steep.
Any help would be appreciated
What happened this morning was that during acceleration the car (Astra J 1.6) behaved like misfiring, acceleration was slow and car was "Jerking" then Electronic Stabilization Control lit got on and Engine Light started to blink. After acceleration the car was running normally and idling normally both light went off. Next time when accelerating same happened again I do not know yet which lit came first on and which one first off - can check later. No codes found in engine section. What could this be?
Hi, I have recently purchased a 2016 GTC 1.4T Limited Edition and loving it. The car does, however, appear to have a fault. The ECO button (start/stop) does not appear to function. The LED on the button does not light up and nothing appears on the dash. I have checked the fuse associated with the start / stop in the engine bay box and it is fine. Does anybody have any ideas? Ive googled the issue and it doesnt appear to be a common issue...
About a year ago someone stole my antenna. I never replaced it because I use AUX 99% of the time, and generally only use the radio when my Mrs is in the car. However, we're going on a road trip to Spain this Christmas to visit her family and I would like to get my radio working again.
Now, I could just fit a new antenna, but I've noticed both my quarterlight windows have antenna in them. They also have wires coming off them, so I'm hopeful that my car has all the kit required to use the internal antennae for FM, and maybe even DAB. That way I can just fit a shark fin antenna to the roof.
The problem I'm having is getting the panels off to see where the wires go and see if I have any receivers attached. The panels are located behind the rear passenger seats and run down the pillar to the floor. I don't want to break them in the process. Also I'm not sure which one would be FM.
Can anyone offer any advice? I can provide some photos if it helps.
