hi all, I am new to this site so all help is welcome,
I have a 2012 astra j mk6 1.7d estate with small display between clocks that shows mileage and trip,
what I would like to know is there any way I can unlock the settings so that I can get things like mpg etc, etc,
or can I change my clocks for the one that as the large display if that`s possible.
would aKWP-2000 or a OP COM OBD2 be any use to me.
many thanks to you all ...........
I have the Genuine vauxhall (meriva) Rear aux power socket but it ideally requires the three pin plug as used on the tyre compressor, is anyone breaking a car that has the loom with the plug?
Just want a bit of it so i can put an aux socket in the boot.
Hello all and thanks for reading this.
Daughters GTC has P0128 fault code and A/C off due to high temp with fan running on full speed & temp gauge on dash not moving above 50 degrees.
New thermostat fitted - (old one was passing a little when cold)
Symptoms the same.
Looked at the service manual pages - should I now be looking at replacing another sensor in the radiator?
Just wondering, Does any one here experience a wierd behaviour on Rev gauge while on a not so steep downhill?
Basically, i own an Astra GTC 1.4T Auto transmission and when i'm doing a downhill, (doing around 40 ~ 60 mph - rev around 2000 rpm) and apply brake to slowdown, the engine rev goes up to 3000 ~ 4000 rpm. Is this kind of normal?
I asked few Automatic car drivers (Jaguar XE owner and a BMW 3 Series owner - all 65 plate), and they said they haven't experinced such
while doing downhills.
I know there is a thing called engine braking, but my question is why its applied all the time when doing downhills and not to be seen in other car manufactures? (Like i mentioned above)
Apart from that, my car doesn't have any known issues........
Hi, I've just bought myself an Astra J, it's a 61 plate Sports Tourer (or estate to most people) Sri, with the upgraded Navi600 unit fitted.
This is not my first astra, I had a Mk1 and an Opel Kadett D (same as Mk1) but that was a loooong time ago, and it seems things have changed a bit.
I've been having a bit of a look around over the last couple of days, and will be making use of the technical areas and probably ask a lot of daft questions.
I'm based in North Devon, but get around to other parts of the country due to a widespread family.
have for sale my 17 inch 5x105 alloys from my 1.3cdti if anyone is interested £150 but wont be availible untill next weekend. collection from northampton.. all wheels in really good condition and all tyres legal too
I think it's referred to as the instrument panel I'd like to upgrade it. I have an Astra J Energy and I think i have the most basic display. I enabled MPG and stuff with opcom but I'd like the big display I've seen on other models. Is it a simple swap of panels or is there a lot more to it?
