I'm new here and been modifying cars for years.

Just picked up a lovely 13 plate Elite, loving the car having had a broken Vectra C for the last month or so. I have always said since i installed xenon headlights in a Volvo years ago i would never go back to halogen headlights and boy with the AFL's that has just made that decision concrete for the future..

I was looking at a 09 plate GTD before this one popped up, with this spec and the cost i honestly couldn't say no.

Specification:
13 plate
AFL Xenon headlights
Full Leather Interior
Heated Seats
Front and Rear parking sensors
Sat Nav (Navi 600)
Dual Zone 

On my previous cars i like to modify by stick with the OEM look with only genuine parts.




Got a few plans for it:
Remap
LED Number Plate Bulb
LED Reverse Bulb
LED White Interior Lighting

If you guys have any advice on the best lights to get, canbus free that actually work, for reversing bulb that would be great.

In addition, i want white number plate bulbs, but not ones that make the car light up like a Christmas tree.

My Astra J needs a new DRL bulb and they are quite expensive. I stumbled across the Halfords option earlier, a pair for £10.

Online reviews seem OK, has anyone tried them? Are they OK?

Hi guys is any of you know if I can fit vxr exhaust just back end to 2.0tdci I will be change rear bumper for vxr and I have back end of exhaust but I'm not sure if this will be fit?

Got a hold of a genuine MDI so I want to see which of the following are possible.
Maybe everything is very obvious in SPS but I like to be prepared so I can get it done in one session hopefully.

So here's a first few things I'd like to change:
- no annoying reminder beep for seatbelt
- 5 blinks instead of 3 for turn indicator
- enabling parking sensor info in instrument cluster panel

Are these possible and if so, which module should I be looking at?

Hi peeps, has any of you's installed foot well lights from the courtesy light via the drivers side A post on a GTC?. If so can you tell me the easiest way to locate the grey coloured live going up to it.

Well after 4 years 8 months of ownership and travelling 129,950 miles in her I said goodbye to my beloved Astra GTC:




It was an emotional farewell particularly because I sold it to webuyanycar.com - the condition and mileage just would mean it would be worth nothing and the cash value offered was actually fairly reasonable.

Anyway I know what you're all thinking - what am I going to get next, well I already have it and I'll let the photo do the talking but needless to say I've never enjoyed driving a car so much as I do my new one:



I will still pop on time and again, but truth be told I've not been active on forums for a while now as life is taking over.

Righty then, basically im looking to get a 2016 gtc and the one im looking at has rear parking sensors but no parking sensor button. Is there any way to get them to work as they would as they come out of the factory? Thanks
